TriVita - Customer Guarantee

In an article called, Internet Marketing Tips for Small Businesses by Stephen Nelson, he gives different tips on how to get your business web site to the top of Google, and other search engine. The main reason is so it can be seen by other people. Being an SEO professional, getting web sites to the top of Google is one of my passions.

On the other hand, I also write quite a lot about customers, and how important customers are to building a successful business. Customers are the key to any business. Without customers, a business will fail. I believe everyone reading this will agree with me. Whether you're in the business of selling a service or product, you need customers to survive.

That's why I buy customers through TriVita's Media Acquisition Program (MAP). TriVita is the only company on the Internet with this type of program.

Since customers are the heart and soul of all businesses, what are you willing to spend to get a customer? What is a customer worth to you? Let's see what Mr. Nelson has to say about it.

"Internet Business Marketing Tip #6: Experiment with Pay-per-click Ads

A final quick though general tip: Pay-pay-click ads like those offered by Google can be quite costly. But the ads also often work wonderfully well for certain types of businesses.

If you can pay $2 for a click and 15-20 clicks usually seem to turn into a customer, for example, that means you can 'buy' a customer for $30 to $40. In many businesses, acquiring a customer for $30 or $40 may be a steal of a deal." [1]

For $50 a TriVita Business Affiliate (BA) can buy one customer (MAP). By doing so, they acquire the exclusive rights to that customer. The BA receives commission on any future products purchased by this customer. The BA receives a nice 21 percent commission every time that customer reorders.

TriVita can eliminate any home business failure, because you will have customers. Customers that have purchased in the past, or are currently purchasing products, and these customers are the business affiliates for life. As long as they purchase, the BA gets paid.

Does that help you understand the importance of customers? Even Stephen Nelson says that "acquiring a customer for $30 or $40 may be a steal of a deal." The problem with his theory is that there is no guarantee of that figure. He's using a $2 pay per click figure, one that may be a little on the low side. He also says that "15-20 clicks usually seem to turn into a customer." That word, usually, scares me.

According to dictionary.com, usually means, "commonplace; everyday."[2] Usually does not mean that it is guaranteed. However, when a BA purchases a MAP from TriVita, they know exactly what it is going to cost, and they are assured of that when they purchase. It's not just commonplace to be around $50; it's guaranteed.

If you want a home business, yet finding customers has always scared you, TriVita takes that fear away. TriVita is the perfect business that offers you customers.

Multivitamin Supplements

"A daily multivitamin, and maybe an extra vitamin D supplement, is a great way to make sure you're getting all the nutrients you need to be healthy." That's the message being promoted by the Harvard School of Public Health. [1] I found some great information on their public health web site which I thought I would share with readers of my blog.

There are also some warnings when considering taking multivitamin supplements.

  1. A multivitamin provides some insurance against deficiencies but is far less important for health than the healthy food patterns. Choose a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and healthy oils, and low in red meat and unhealthy fats.
  2. In general, avoid mega-dose vitamins and mega-fortified foods. Higher doses of vitamin E may help to prevent heart disease, but in general, the amount in a standard multivitamin is enough to have health benefits.
  3. Don't be swayed by the wild health claims of the many health supplements advertised on TV and the Internet. If they sound too good to true, you can be sure they are. [1]

As with most high quality nutritional products, a daily multivitamin is an inexpensive nutrition insurance policy. You should try to take one every single day.

"In addition to its bone health benefits, there's growing evidence that getting some extra vitamin D can help lower the risk of colon and breast cancer. Aim for getting 1,000 to 2,000 IU of vitamin D per day—this likely will require an extra vitamin D pill, in addition to your multivitamin." [1]

Before taking any supplements, it always best to sit down with your physician and discuss your health with him or her. They may even suggest that you meet with a nutrition specialist. These people are professionals in their field, so check with them first.

If you have already talked to your healthcare professional, and are just now looking for vitamin supplements, check out TriVita. They have a full array of vitamin supplements to choose from.

No SEO Shortcuts

Most online businesses rely on exposure on Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and other search engines. This is basically their main form of marketing. If your business is not listed in the top 20 results for keywords relevant to your business (web site), then Search Engine Optimization (SEO) could be the answer.

According to some professional surveys and research projects, less than 10% of people using Google and other search engines will click on a result outside of the first 3 pages. If your site is not on the first 3 pages for your keyword, your business may be missing out a on web traffic, and in all reality, sales.

Meta Tags, onsite content, web site structure, external links and search engine submissions are many ways to improve your organic search rankings. Some organic search engine optimization techniques can be performed by you, or the site webmaster. It's better to hire an SEO professional, someone who has the experience and tools required to get the best results.

As the number of web sites continues to grow, organic search engine results are becoming harder and harder to achieve. We even see Webmasters continually trying to trick the search engines or take short cuts to get higher listings. While some of these techniques may work in the short term, the end result could be catastrophic, especially when it comes to your web site. Many sites banned completely for using short cuts, or tricks.

Stick to the rules set forth by Google (most search engine abide by their rules) and the other search engines. Never be tempted into taking short cuts to achieve a quick fix, this will make sure that your search engine optimization is successful for the long term. If you see a web site offering dubious claims of "first page rankings in a short period of time", research the company and/or person, before signing up for such a system. Remember, there is no short cut to long term SEO results.

I've been marketing on the Internet since March, 2000, and I've had excellent results with organic SEO. Let me tell you, everything I've done has taken time, but the long term results are terrific. I even have SEO clients that have received the same results as mine. Organic SEO does work, but it's not easy. If you want to learn more about organic SEO, contact me, and I'll get you the results you're looking for.

Vitamin Supplements

Vitamins and mineral supplements are a good way to supply your body with the daily nutrients you may not be getting from your diet. However, many vitamin and mineral supplements make outrageous claims, like supplements that claim to help you lose weight without exercise. If that's the case, it's just not true. You have to burn more calories than you consume and exercise will help you accomplish that.

Most vitamins are fine and are not harmful. Most foods contain enough vitamins and minerals to keep the body functioning properly. However, according to some nutritionists, to meet your daily requirement of vitamins and minerals, you need to take a supplement. Fruits and vegetables have important vitamins in them and should not be eliminated from a diet unless a doctor orders it. In this case a supplement would almost be necessary. Your body needs vitamins to keep it functioning.

Are vitamins a good source of energy? No. Vitamins help regulate the body's metabolism. Vitamins also help the food we eat to release its energy. It's the food, when absorbed and broken down into nutrients, the body can use that provides our body with energy. For example, the body, more easily, absorbs calcium if you are also taking Vitamin D. that's why the majority of Vitamin D supplements are fortified with calcium.

There are thirteen vitamins that are all important to achieve optimum health. Vitamins E & C contain antioxidants. Antioxidants help to release free radicals, which are high-energy particles. These high-energy particles damage healthy blood cells. There are also studies indicating that the consumption of vitamins and supplements may aid in fighting cancer and preventing other chronic diseases.

In an article written by Dr. Christine Northrup, M.D., for Vital Choice, she states, "many doctors are under the impression that it's not safe to take vitamins while undergoing these treatments-and that vitamins, such as vitamin C, can actually render treatment less effective."

Dr. Northrup continues, "This has never made any sense to me given that supplements help healthy cells stay healthy and also improve overall immunity."[1]

In 2007 there was a definitive study done called, "Antioxidants and Other Nutrients Do Not Interfere with Chemotherapy or Radiation Therapy and Can Increase Kill and Increase Survival."[1]

The two part study, conducted by the Simone Protective Cancer Institute in New Jersey, shows that a single front-page interview (without scientific justification) in a 1997 edition of The New York Times, a single research paper involving mice, and a press release by its author LL led to the erroneous conclusion that vitamin C interfered with chemo and radiation in humans.

Concern was raised over the facts that antioxidants such as vitamin C neutralize free radicals, and most cancer treatments kill cancer cells by generating free radicals. Was one fighting the other?

"Oncologists observed that folic acid (an antioxidant) interferes with methotrexate (one type of chemo). Suddenly, doctors started to accept the unproved notion that this applied to all antioxidants and that taking any supplements or other nutrients would interfere with treatment," states Dr. Northrup.

According to the study, "non-prescription antioxidants and other nutrients actually enhance the ability of these modalities to kill cancer cells. They also help protect healthy tissue and decrease side effects."[1]

Vitamins are just one tool among many that are available to help us become and stay healthy. Vitamins alone will not do this; there is no magic pill. A healthy diet, exercise, and regular health checkups will get us on the right path.

Sit down with your physician and discuss your health with him or her. They may even suggest that you meet with a nutrition specialist. Get smart and be healthy.

There are plenty of web sites with great information regarding vitamin supplements and how they work. A little knowledge is a very good thing and in the case of vitamins, the more you know about the advantages and disadvantages, the safer and healthier you will be. You should know your body, trust your instincts, and get help if needed. Eating the proper food (diet), good exercise, plenty of water, and a little common sense will get you on the right path to better health.

Looking for vitamin supplements? TriVita has a full array of vitamin supplements to choose from.

Nutrition, Vitamins and Exercise

Whether you're trying to lose weight or live an active healthy life style, nutrition, vitamins, and exercise are vital to your health. We have become as a whole in the western culture, a couch potato, slow moving, over weight and flaccid society. Of course there will always be that smaller percentage of people who get it right and remain fit and healthy. The ones that get it right make a conscious effort with the proper diet and exercise. Congratulations if you're in that category!

If you consider yourself, non active, take the first step, and make a decision to become healthy and fit. Once you have firmly made that decision you are on your way. Now take the time to evaluate your lifestyle and really look at it. Be honest with yourself about your eating habits and activity level.

You may want to start with a diet program; there are many popular programs out there. The Zone, the Blood Type Diet, Atkins, the South Beach Diet, Weight Watchers and the list goes on. They all have had their share of successes so it is hard sometimes to know what to do. I can only say, do your homework. You will find the right one that works for you and you will be more likely to stick to it.

On the other hand, if you're not into diet programs, and you just want to get into shape, exercise and the proper nutrition does work. Changing your diet (the food you consume, not a diet program) to eating healthy whole foods is a good way to start. It'll not only help you lose weight and help you feel better, but it will enhance your quality of life. You'll have more energy and life just feels better when you are healthy.

Eat raw fruits and vegetables as much as you can especially dark greens. Cooked veggies lose some of their nutrients so eating a salad every day would benefit you. Most of your vitamins and minerals are going to come from fresh fruits and leafy green vegetables. And try to stick to organic on this to avoid the pesticides and chemicals.

Cutting down to smaller portions can help tremendously. A great way to eat less food at one sitting is to drink a glass of water before you eat and then drink more water with your meal. Water takes up a lot of space in your stomach so you will feel full faster and water won't give you any extra calories.

Find an exercise regimen that you like and will stick to. Pretty much any exercise program will help you lose weight if you stick with it. You will see on TV all the equipment people want to sell you but after watching for a bit you usually know what appeals to you or not. You may just want to pop in a video and exercise with that. If that doesn't work, go out and play basketball or soccer, or go for a jog.

Some food is deficient in nutrients from growing in poor over used soil, so it might be a good idea to get some good vitamin supplements to assist in getting your daily requirements. Getting the proper vitamins and nutrients in food is the best, but that's hard to do. If you're struggling to come up with the proper regiment, find a qualified nutritionist to help. They will help you in selecting what's best for you.

The proper nutrition, vitamins, and exercise are very important to maintaining a healthy body. The three go hand in hand, but it's almost impossible to get the necessary vitamins and nutrients through food alone. I recommend that you take a daily vitamin supplement. TriVita has a full array of vitamin supplements to choose from. They also have a weight loss system that can help you keep the weight off.

Benefits of Omega 3 Fatty Acids

Omega 3 benefits are too good to ignore if you are interested in health. You don't need to look any further than heart health, depression treatment, and pregnancy health, to see the benefits of Omega 3 fatty acids. Once you get an understanding of the importance of Omega 3 fatty acids, it won't take long to find the best Omega 3 sources. That means you can include more of these healthy foods in your daily diet.

So, what are Omega 3 fatty acids? Omega 3 essential fatty acids (EFA's) are polyunsaturated fats or the so-called "good fats". These desirable fats cannot be made by the human body, so they must be obtained from foods or supplemental sources. These fats are required for normal development of the brain, eyes and nerve tissue in humans. Clinical studies show that Omega 3 benefits come primarily from DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid).

What are the best Omega 3 sources?

The best Omega 3 sources are animal foods, not plant sources. For example, flaxseed is a source, but the body must convert the flax oil Omega 3 into DHA and EPA. This can be difficult for unhealthy or elderly persons. Three of the top Omega 3 sources are cold-water fish oil, grass-fed red meat and natural eggs. Omega 3 oils provide DHA and EPA in a natural form that your body can easily assimilate. No conversion is required by the body. Most of the clinical studies on Omega 3 benefits are based on fish oils from consuming fish and fish oil supplements.

TriVita's Omega Prime is the perfect fish oil supplement. Omega Prime contains a premier and unique blend of four different types of the most highly regarded EFA oils -- Fish, Flaxseed, Evening Primrose and Perilla Seed. Omega prime uses only contaminant-free fish oil that has undergone a 10 stage distilling process. Omega Prime also helps promote healthy development and aging by helping to protect against cognitive, cholesterol, mood and hormonal problems.

Here are some Omega 3 benefits proven by clinical studies:

  1. Improves Heart Health
  2. Improves Mood
  3. Reduces Risk of Developing Alzheimer's Disease
  4. Improves Memory and Brain Function
  5. Reduces Allergies
  6. Reduces Rheumatoid Arthritis Symptoms
  7. Improves Eye Health
  8. Reduces PMS Symptoms in Women
  9. Improves Skin and Hair Health
  10. Lowers Cancer Risk

If you not a fish eater, an easy way to enjoy Omega 3 benefits is by adding fish oil supplementation to your diet. TriVita's Omega Prime is the supplement I recommend. Protect yourself from health problems related to the lack of the essential fatty acids DHA and EFA. The best of the Omega 3 fatty acids sources is high-quality fish oil. However, it must be pure and totally free from contaminants, just like Omega Prime.

Ask your health professional or read as much as you can about the additional fish oil benefits. You will find that they provide an amazing array of health benefits.

Weight Loss Systems

If weight loss is at the top of your priority list, the National Institutes of Health has identified a variety of diet plans, or weight loss systems, that are in existence today. Understanding these various diet programs can be the first step to losing significant weight.

The "fixed menu diet" tells you exactly what you will consume over a period of time. This makes it easy on the dieter, because he or she does not have to shop for their own food. The disadvantage to this type of diet is that the dieter fails to learn how to choose food for himself or herself.

The diet food provided to you can be quite bland and unexciting. If you travel a lot, you may also find it difficult to follow the diet plan when you are traveling. Ultimately, a number of medical experts recommend replacing the fixed menu diet with another plan in order to keep yourself healthy.

The "exchange diet" allows you to choose your food from a number of different food groups. For example, from the starch group you could select pasta, rice, or potatoes. By being able to make selections, the exchange diet offers a good deal of variety. You should be no problem following this diet while on vacation or traveling. This diet enables you to learn how to make healthy choices for yourself.

Next up is the "formula diet". The formula diet is where you will be drinking your breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or a combination of the meals. These liquid formulas are often filled with proteins and carbohydrates and have little in the way of fat. The formula diet is convenient and can be economical. However, such diets are low-cal, and they often lack valuable nutrients. In addition, they may be unsuitable for long-term weight loss.

The one exception to the formula diet would be the Leanology nutritional shake. Leanology Nutritional Shakes are the ideal meal substitute. They have half the calories of an average meal, they taste great and help you lose weight. They are scientifically formulated and physician approved.

You can drink a shake once or twice a day as a low calorie, well balanced, nutritious meal substitute. They are quick and easy to prepare, and help satisfy your hunger for hours. Each shake contains great nutrition – a perfectly balanced combination of good, wholesome carbohydrates, proteins and fats (40/30/30 ratio), plus a healthy mix of fiber, vitamins and minerals (including Omega-3 and soy).

The Leanology Nutritional Shakes are nutrient based and stimulant free. These delicious shakes will help you replace high calorie meals. You'll be able to lose the weight, and gain the rewards of a healthier, more fulfilling life!

The American Dietetic Association maintains that it is possible to lose weight using a number of different approaches. Because of the variety of diets available--and the confusion over which ones are truly effective--some physicians recommend consulting with a dietitian in order to obtain a personalized weight loss plan. In this way, you can rely on expert advice for your meal planning.

The plan can also be individualized to meet your unique nutritional needs. Generally speaking, health experts say the best weight loss programs combine diet with exercise. In this way, you can ensure that your body is using food efficiently. You can build up your strength and muscle tone, becoming more fit in the process. If you have serious questions about the best way to go about weight loss, it's best if you talk to your family doctor.

Weight Loss Incentives

Statistics show that average weight loss for dieters on conventional diets amounts to a mere 5-8 pounds per year. Why is it so difficult to loose weight? According to some health experts, there are three reasons why loosing weight is so hard:

  1. We don't have a sufficiently powerful incentive;
  2. We let ourselves go hungry;
  3. We don't deal effectively with "bad days"

There was a survey conducted a couple of years ago about weight loss. In that survey, dieters where asked to identify the three biggest obstacles they faced when following a calorie-controlled eating plan. The most popular replies were:

  • Inadequate incentive to lose weight (75 percent)
  • Hunger (70 percent)
  • Bad days (69 percent)

What causes these diet problems, and how we can overcome them?

Most individuals that gain weight either do so because they consume too many calories, or burn too few. The most common cause of weight gain is a combination of both. On the other hand, to lose weight, one has to correct this calorie imbalance by changing their eating and exercise habits. But that's where the problem comes in, "creating a new habit."

Regular habits aren't easily changed, especially if it means cutting out our favorite food treats. The only way to do it is to find a strong incentive (motivational means) to help us change. The easiest way to create an incentive to what to make a change is to ask yourself a question, how will I benefit from loosing weight?

Most dieters have weak reasons for wanting to loose weight, so they start and then usually give up in a very short period of time. Reasons like "I'll feel better", or "it'll make my spouse happier", are weak reasons. With a weak reason, there's no incentive to loose weight.

To loose weight, and stay the course, one needs a strong reason, one that is personal, specific, and has a time frame attached to it. For example, "I'm going to loose weight so I can go scuba diving in the Caribbean in the summer of 2010. This is something I've always wanted to do, but I felt I was too heavy and so out of shape that I haven't done it before."

Now we have a strong reason for wanting to loose weight. We have set a time limit, summer of 2010, make it specific, going scuba diving, and made it personal, something I've always wanted to do. A reason like this will keep someone more focused on the task, and keep someone motivated to loose the weight.

Something else that will help you loose weight and keep it off is the Weight Loss System by TriVita. TriVita's Leanology is what you need to be well on your way to healthy weight loss. The comprehensive Leanology 3-Step Value Pack offers the most advanced system of weight loss products on the market.

Leanology products are scientifically formulated and physician approved. They are natural, nutrient based, and contain no stimulants. Leanology has been clinically proven for optimal, healthy weight loss. The 3-Step Value Pack is easy to follow and convenient!

Continuing on your weight loss journey, when the going gets tough, is easier when you're motivated. That's why it's so important to come up with your own reason to loose the weight. Weight loss is not easy, but it's a lot easier when you have a strong reason for doing it, combined with a weight loss system that produces results.

New Study on Omega-3 Fatty Acids

A few years ago, the U.S. FDA approved a qualified health claim for animal foods that contain long-chain omega-3s:

"Supportive but not conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease."[1]

In 2000, FDA announced a similar qualified health claim for dietary supplements (i.e., fish or algae oil) containing EPA and DHA.

Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) continues to shed light on the benefits of making fish an important part of any diet. New research from CUMC has shown that omega-3 fatty acids decrease the amount of blockage in the arteries of laboratory mice.

"Now, a CUMC research team led by Richard J. Deckelbaum, M.D., Director of the Columbia Institute of Human Nutrition, has found that a diet rich in fish oils can prevent the accumulation of fat in the aorta, the main artery leaving the heart. The beneficial actions of fish oil that block cholesterol buildup in arteries are even found at high fat intakes.

The study was conducted in three separate populations of mice: one that was fed a balanced diet, one that was fed a diet resembling a 'Western' diet high in saturated fat, and a third that was fed a high fish fat diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids."[2]

They found that this effect was related to the ability of omega-3s to markedly decrease levels of a molecule called lipoprotein lipase, which – in mice and humans alike – traps LDL in artery walls.

This discovery could help explain the documented heart-health benefits of higher-than-average fish and omega-3 intake.[3]

Dr. Deckelbaum advises those interested in increasing omega-3 intakes to either eat more fatty cold water fish or take fish oil supplements (CUMC 2009). One such supplement that I promote is TriVita's Omega Prime.

CUMC's research will likely prove to be important as a new mechanism which helps explain benefits of omega-3 fatty acids on heart health.

When doctors talk about the two types of cholesterol, LDL and HDL, they are really talking about different lipoprotein "packages" in which cholesterol is carried.

My understanding on LDL and HDL is the same as in an article by VitalChoice: "The body uses high-density lipoproteins (HDLs) to remove cholesterol from the blood, and it uses various kinds of low-density lipoproteins (LDLs) to carry cholesterol through the blood."[3]

Although I'm not a doctor, or health professional, I did have high cholesterol levels, so I asked my doctor to explain it to me. To learn more about LDL and HDL, and their effects on your health, read this article by VitalChoice (http://newsletter.vitalchoice.com/e_article001342171.cfm?x=bf6PgS6,b6hFv6bq).

TriVita's Omega Prime is a supplement that can get you your daily requirements of omega-3 fatty acids. If you don't like fish, Omega Prime can be a great addition to your diet. Omega-3 fatty acids are recommended by doctors and health professionals, so make sure you're getting your recommended daily requirement.

Omega Prime helps meet the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. One daily dose of Omega Prime provides the amount of Omega-3 recommended by the AHA for healthy individuals, as well as for those who have heart disease or the risk of it.

TriVita's Omega Prime Benefits - Omega-3

I've visited many sites on the Internet claiming that "eating one to two servings of fish a week could reduce your risk of dying of a heart attack by a third or more." I totally agree with everything I've read regarding the "benefits" of eating foods high in omega-3 fatty acids.

Doctors have long recognized that the unsaturated fats in fish, called omega-3 fatty acids, appear to reduce your risk of dying of heart disease. As mentioned in my previous post, the American Heart Association has recommended that people eat fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids at least twice a week.

Although the omega-3 fatty acids contained in fish are healthy, some people are still concerned about mercury or other contaminants in fish. As a result, they are more concerned about the bad outweighing its heart-healthy benefits. With that said, the benefits of eating fish usually outweigh the possible risks of exposure to contaminants. Find out how to balance these concerns with adding a healthy amount of fish to your diet.

According to experts, fatty fish, such as salmon, herring, and to a lesser extent tuna, contain the most omega-3 fatty acids. They provide the most benefits, but many types of seafood contain small amounts of omega-3 fatty acids. Most freshwater fish have less omega-3 fatty acids than do fatty fish from the sea. Some varieties of trout have relatively high levels of omega-3 fatty acids.

My personal favorite is salmon, which has always been touted as the fish with the highest amount of omega-3 fatty acids. Believe it or not, one of the best pieces of salmon I've eaten came from Chili's. (Although I probably should have stayed away from their molten).

The evidence is stronger for the benefits of eating fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids compared with using supplements. However, people who have heart disease may benefit from supplements of omega-3 fatty acids and should discuss this with their doctors.

I suggest taking TriVita's Omega Prime as the supplement to get your daily requirements of omega-3 fatty acids. If you're not a fish eater, Omega Prime can be a great addition to your diet. Since omega-3 fatty acids are recommended by doctors and health professionals, it's important to get your daily requirement.

Omega Prime helps meet the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. One daily dose of Omega Prime provides the amount of Omega-3 recommended by the AHA for healthy individuals, as well as for those who have heart disease or the risk of it.

What's Happening with Web Prosperity?

What's happening with the Web Prosperity system? Are they loosing their edge? Web Prosperity continues to struggle with their Alexa ranking, products, and top recruiters. Let's take a look at all three!

We’ll first start with the Alexa ranking. Back on January 5, 2009 the Alexa ranking for Web Prosperity was closing in on 200 million. Since that time, it started to drop. Then around January 13, 2009, it jumped back up to around 180 million. But since that time, Web Prosperity has dropped down to around 18 million.

Here is a graph showing the decline in Alexa ranking by Web Prosperity.
http://www.scam.com/showpost.php?p=714429&postcount=95

Web Prosperity's products have also been getting a lot of negative feedback. From what I've read, it seems that some of the products are not what they were hyped up to be.

Here's a quote from an article I found online:

Since Web Prosperity was launched I have been assessing the tools that are on offer and one of the biggest disappointments so far is the limitations of the autoresponder service.

What is more annoying at this point is the lack of flexibility with the Web Prosperity autoresponder. The web form is very limited and I would certainly like to see it much more customizable so that it integrates more easily with a broad range of marketing pieces.

You can read the complete blog post here: http://review-webprosperity.com/73/why-serious-marketers-wont-use-web-prosperity/

One more product complaint can be read by going to this link:
http://review-webprosperity.com/71/web-prosperity-was-a-bum-steer/

"...my growing dissatisfaction was with the realization that the suite of tools was really only of use to promote WebProsperity as a business opportunity. It seemed in prelaunch that this was going to be a great Internet marketing tool kit for use in whatever I choose to market. In so doing, that in it self, made the business opportunity appear to have REAL VALUE.

But, not so good! These tools seem unusable outside of promoting WebProsperity’s MLM. And in that, the business opportunity becomes just a shallow money game which will obviously implode upon itself rather quickly."

One of the major players in the Web Prosperity opportunity is Stone Evans, aliases Jeffrey Stone Evans and Mark Wise. I was sent a link to a .pdf file on the Federal Trade Commission's web site by a friend. In the .pdf file, an injunction by the FTC, you will see that Stone Evans (Jeffrey Stone Evans) apparently, has a permanent injunction from participating in any type of pyramid scheme. According to some web sites, Web Prosperity is just that, a "pyramid scheme."

Another site I've visited in the past was Alan Mater's. Just last week, I paid a visit to his Web Prosperity web site and noticed he took down a video that he uploaded to YouTube.com. Today, Saturday, February 7, 2009, that site, http://www.replaceyoursalary.com/work-from-home-blog/work-from-home/web-prosperity-scam-or-internet-success-system, is taken down. I wonder what's happening with all these self-proclaimed, Internet marketing/network marketing experts (the ones jumping from one opportunity to another). Could it be they had the wrong impression of Web Prosperity? Did they get scammed at their own game? Did they realize they were involved in something that is illegal?

So that brings us back to the questions, what's happening with Web Prosperity, the so called, "most powerful, income-generating Internet Business opportunity anyone has ever seen in the history of this industry?" Is it a legit business opportunity, one that is sure to bring the average person prosperity on the web? Or is it a "pyramid scheme." that is loosing face within the rank and file? I guess you will have to be the judge.

I write this article to make people aware of the possibility that Web Prosperity may be a scam. I'm not involved in this opportunity, not because of the things I read, but rather the people who are promoting it. I haven't found many good articles on the people at the top of this organization. I have also seen too many, let's call them, weird things happening.

I'm just going to remain focused on promoting my Web Prosperity System, Veretekk. I know this system is legit and it will continue make me money as long as I stay the course.

AHA Recommends Omega-3 Fatty Acids

The American Heart Association recommends Omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids benefit the heart of healthy people, and those at high risk of — or who have — cardiovascular disease.

The AHA recommends eating fish. "Fish is a good source of protein and doesn't have the high saturated fat that fatty meat products do. Fatty fish like mackerel, lake trout, herring, sardines, albacore tuna and salmon are high in two kinds of omega-3 fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)." [1]

The AHA also recommends eating "tofu and other forms of soybeans, canola, walnut and flaxseed, and their oils. These contain alpha-linolenic acid (LNA), which can become omega-3 fatty acid in the body. The extent of this modification is modest and controversial, however. More studies are needed to show a cause-and-effect relationship between alpha-linolenic acid and heart disease." [1]

"Epidemiologic and clinical trials have shown that omega-3 fatty acids reduce CVD incidence. Large-scale epidemiologic studies suggest that people at risk for coronary heart disease benefit from consuming omega-3 fatty acids from plants and marine sources." [1]

"Increasing omega-3 fatty acid intake through foods is preferable. However, coronary artery disease patients may not be able to get enough omega-3 by diet alone. These people may want to talk to their doctor about taking a supplement. Supplements also could help people with high triglycerides, who need even larger doses. The availability of high-quality omega-3 fatty acid supplements, free of contaminants, is an important prerequisite to their use." [1]

If you're not into eating fish or some of the other foods high in Omega-3 fatty acids, TriVita's Omega Prime may be a supplement you can take to get your daily requirement of Omega-3 fatty acids. Omega Prime is free of mercury/contaminant free fish oil, which is the result of an exclusive 10 stage process to ensure its purity, potency and quality (plus a higher level of Vitamin E for maximizing the fish oil's potency).

Promoting Web Prosperity and Veretekk

I've been commenting on Web Prosperity, the self-proclaimed "most powerful", income-generating Internet Business opportunity anyone has ever seen in the history of this industry!" I have also been writing about the Web Prosperity System that I've been using for 2-1/2 years, Veretekk. Looking, in depth, at both systems helps me communicate better to would be business opportunity seekers.

In order to get the information correct, we have to look at the people that are promoting Web Prosperity and Veretekk. So, who are the ones promoting Web Prosperity and calling this biz opp the "most powerful" opportunity ever? And who's promoting Veretekk as the most powerful SEO, and lead generating tool on the Internet.

First Web Prosperity: From everything I've read or discovered about Web Prosperity, it seems that the people hyping it up are the ones that stand to earn the most money, the ones at the top of the matrix. Are these individuals legit business entrepreneurs, or people out there to scam the little guy out of their hard earned money? Here's one post suggesting the later.

"...Interesting, isn't it? But the fact that EVERYONE here we speak to and all the others in other forums and blogs did not get ANY spillover, does this mean that Webprosperity is rigged? Or does it mean that only sour grapes are heard here and elsewhere?

Never mind, let me solve this mystery here then. I had signed-up an account each with Stone Evans, Ewen Chia, Glen Mosser, David D'archangelo and Simon G. I can safely tell you this now. NONE of them (damned) accounts got any spillovers.

So, the truth is told. Make our own deductions and let the law go after the masterminds of this scam.

I have submitted for my refunds BUT like the rest here who posted on this, I have NOT received any reply from Webprosperity and it is already a week now."

You can read the whole post here, http://www.scam.com/showpost.php?p=722714&postcount=101.

This is just one article mentioning Web Prosperity as being a scam. IS it a scam or not? Are the people at the top, the ones promoting this as the "most powerful" business opportunity, setting themselves up to make all the money? You will have to find the answers to those questions on your own, or just make your own deductions.

Next we'll take a look at Veretekk, my Web Prosperity System. Who is promoting this system as the most powerful SEO, and lead generating system on the Internet? Quite frankly, it's the people using the system, and have been using it for years. Veretekk is NOT the "most powerful" business opportunity, but rather the most powerful system for promoting any business opportunity you may be involved in.

Veretekk, my Web Prosperity System, is very powerful for search engine optimization, and promoting any business or web site you want to get to the top of the search engines. It's robust and takes time to set up, but once configured properly, it is powerful. You can read more about my Web Prosperity System by clicking on the link.

Other users and promoters of Veretekk can be found by going to http://web-prosperity.sohomatic.com, signing for a free account, logging into the back office, and clicking on testimonials. When it comes to prospering on the web, you need not go any further than Google, and typing in any word and/or name to find information. Everything is right at your finger tips, all you have to do is use them.

Experiment Shows Importance of Omega-3

The importance of omega-3 fatty acids, as part of your diet are becoming more prevalent as more and more studies begin to surface. Diets typical of modern America - ones high in omega-6 fatty acids and low in omega-3s - are linked to higher risks of cancer, diabetes, and immunity disorders.

Taking a daily omega-3 supplement, and lowering your omega-6 intake, is even more critical after seeing the effects of an experiment done by University of British Columbia.

Lab studies indicate that the associations between high omega-6 intake and low omega-3, reflects real influences that various patterns of omega-3 and omega-6 fat intake exert over the risks of major chronic diseases.

Both of omega-6 and omega-3, fatty acids are essential to your health. Each one plays a different but critical role in inflammation, metabolism, and vascular health. While high omega-6 intake is not bad, it's the omega-imbalance, especially low omega-3 intake that causes the most damage.

In the experiment,

"pediatric researchers fed one of four milk formulas to groups of infant pigs, to simulate the effects of different maternal intakes of omega-3 and omega-6 fats (Novak EM et al. 2008).

In all cases, the piglets’ formulas contain only short-chain omega-3s (ALA) and omega-6s (LA).

The body must first convert these short-chain forms to long-chain omega-3s (DHA and EPA) and omega-6s (AA) before they can be used to build brain cells (neurons) and promote connections between brain cells (dendrites).

Fish fat and oil are the only significant food sources of the long-chain omega-3s (DHA and EPA) essential to human health.

Most of omega-3 fat in most Americans’ diets is the short-chain, plant-source omega-3 called ALA, small amounts of which occur in leafy greens, flaxseed/oil, walnuts, grass-fed meats and poultry, and canola oil.

The results affirmed the indications of prior research, showing that the imbalanced Contemporary diet, which was very high in omega-6 ALA, reduced brain levels of omega-3 DHA and yielded high levels of long-chain omega-6s in the brain."

If you're looking to incorporate more omega-3-fatty acids into your diet, fish is your best bet. The purest choice fish include canned sardines or mackerel, wild Alaskan salmon and sablefish, and small, troll-caught tuna.

If you're not a fish eater, TriVita's Omega Prime is a supplement that gives you the needed omega-3 fatty acid to maintain a healthy omega-3 balance.

TriVita's Omega Prime contains a premier and unique blend of four different types of the most highly regarded Essential Fatty Acids (EFA) oils – Fish, Flaxseed, Evening Primrose and Perilla Seed. It also uses only contaminant-free fish oil that has undergone a 10 stage distilling process.

Omega Prime's EFAs support our wellness in so many ways, starting with helping to reduce runaway inflammation. Many of us don't realize this, but runaway inflammation can lead to various serious health problems in the body involving the heart, arteries, lungs, joints and more.

Omega Prime helps meet the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. One daily dose of Omega Prime provides the amount of Omega-3 recommended by the AHA for healthy individuals, as well as for those who have heart disease or the risk of it.

Lesson Learned from Lincoln Electric Layoffs

The latest company to be hit by the economic crisis is Lincoln Electric, a Cleveland based company. Lincoln Electric announced a 10 percent reduction in its global workforce. The company employs more than 9,000 worldwide and expects to save $50 million through the job cuts.

The company will also continue to cut hours and offer voluntary buyouts to all of its 2,900 bonus-eligible local workers.

Lincoln also announced it will institute a voluntary separation program for its Cleveland-based work force. It will cut executive management team base salaries, freeze merit raises and external hiring, suspend its 401(k) plan company match and continue with previously announced reduced work hours for Cleveland-based employees, according to a news release.

John Stropki, company CEO, said, "Lincoln Electric has a long history of effectively managing its cost structure through economic cycles. However, the severity of global conditions has required us to institute additional action and target cost reductions in our Selling, General, and Administrative expenses."

Even a solid company like Lincoln Electric cannot survive this world-wide economic problem without layoffs, something that hasn't happened in over 50 years.

According to their web site, http://www.lincolnelectric.com/corporate/career/, an "Incentive Performance System, primarily attributed to James F. Lincoln, has been in place at Lincoln Electric since the early twentieth century. It has resulted in one of the oldest 'pay-for-performance' systems in the country, and is frequently used for benchmarking by other businesses and studied by academics around the world."

With their "Incentive Performance System in place in the U.S.", one that offers "Guaranteed Employment after three years of service, the company has not exercised its layoff options in the U.S. operations since post war 1948."

In an online article by Business Week, "How 'No Layoffs' Can Work", written in 2001, Jennifer Gill reports how a company like Lincoln Electric can survive even in the worst of times. Evidently, the global economic crash of 2008-09 had not yet occurred. Below is an excerpt from that article back in 2001, which can be read at http://www.businessweek.com/careers/content/nov2001/ca2001116_6269.htm.

"Not every business is cutting workers loose, however. As the economic slump has deepened, some innovative companies have found ways to reduce costs without handing out pink slips. Leading the pack is Cleveland-based Lincoln Electric -- and not just in this slowdown. Lincoln hasn't laid off a single U.S. employee in more than five decades. Since the 1950s, it has guaranteed a job to everyone with at least three years of service. In return, its 3,000 workers agree to pay cuts or reassignments if business conditions warrant. They also agree not to join a union."

Even a "Guaranteed Employment" plan cannot guarantee you a job today, even with a company like Lincoln Electric. I believe there are lessons we can learn from plans such as these, there is no guarantee in life, layoffs happen, jobs get eliminated, and we cannot control the economy. That's why it's so important to take matters into your own hands, and search for alternatives. One such alternative that I've turned to is a part-time home based business. As I continue to work at my, day time job, I continue to build my home business.

The Internet is a great place to get started. You can build a global business from the confines of your own home. Manufacturing jobs may be going away, but the Internet is here to stay. And as your typical nine-to-five jobs continue to disappear, more and more people will be looking for an alternative to your typical job. If you have a computer and an Internet connection, you can be working today.

Do let this economic crisis get the best of you. If you are working, there is no guarantee you will have a job tomorrow. It's best to prepare for the worse, but at the same time, you can hope for the best. Preparation is a key word here, because I don't think we have seen the worst of our economic times. don't wait until you get laid-off to make alternative plans. Take action today, and plan for a better future.

Importance of Omega- Fatty Acids

Most of us have heard about how fats are bad for us -- but this isn't always the case. Some fats are very good for our ongoing well being. Two of these fats are Omega-3 and Omega-6. Not only are they good for us, they're actually indispensible, which is why they are also called Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs).

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential to human health but cannot be manufactured by the body. For this reason, omega-3 fatty acids must be obtained from food. Omega-3 fatty acids can be found in fish, such as salmon, tuna, and halibut, other marine life such as algae and krill, certain plants (including purslane), and nut oils.

Also known as polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), omega-3 fatty acids play a crucial role in brain function as well as normal growth and development.

The American Heart Association recommends eating fish (particularly fatty fish such as mackerel, lake trout, herring, sardines, albacore tuna, and salmon) at least 2 times a week. It is advised that pregnant women and mothers, nursing mothers, young children, and women who might become pregnant not eat several types of fish, including swordfish, shark, and king mackerel. These individuals should also limit consumption of other fish, including albacore tuna, salmon, and herring. They can take omega-3 fatty acids in quality dietary supplements that are certified mercury-free by a reputable third-party lab, like TriVita's Omega Prime.

Extensive research indicates that omega-3 fatty acids reduce inflammation and help prevent risk factors associated with chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and arthritis. These essential fatty acids are highly concentrated in the brain and appear to be particularly important for cognitive (brain memory and performance) and behavioral function.

OmegaPrime's EFAs support our wellness in so many ways, starting with helping to reduce runaway inflammation. Many of us don't realize this, but runaway inflammation can lead to various serious health problems in the body involving the heart, arteries, lungs, joints and more. But the EFAs support the body's health by helping to:

  • Reduce Cardiovascular Inflammation -- which lowers the risks of heart disease, heart attack and stroke
  • Lessen Joint Inflammation -- which eases joint pain & inflammation for increased flexibility
  • Relieve Respiratory Inflammation – which lessens any inflammation-related to allergies and asthma.

Omega Prime helps meet the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. One daily dose of Omega Prime provides the amount of Omega-3 recommended by the AHA for healthy individuals, as well as for those who have heart disease or the risk of it.

Weight Loss by Eating Properly?

Food is more powerful than any prescription weight loss pills. The food that you eat can either make you thinner or fatter. One myth that keeps surfacing is "you get fat because of the lack of exercise." I don't buy that. You get fat because you don't eat the right foods at the proper time each day.

The time you choose to eat your meals each day is more powerful than any prescription weight loss pill. The reason this is true is because your body is like an "engine", it needs certain foods at certain intervals of each day. If you don't eat the right foods at the right times then it won't burn the calories needed to loose weight. You body will wind up storing those calories as fat tissue.

The plain fact is, you gained weight and/or became overweight by eating the wrong foods. Now the good news; You can slim down, or loose weight, by eating the proper foods at the proper intervals each day. Yes, it is possible to loose weight by eating food that your body requires to function properly.

If you're like most people, constantly on the go, and eating fast food, it's hard to eat the proper food. If that's the case, you may need a weight loss system to help you loose those unwanted pounds.

That brings me to Leanology. The Leanology Weight Loss System is what you need to be well on your way to healthy weight loss. Leanology offers the most advanced system of weight loss products on the market, as part of an easy 3 Step System to help you lose weight the smart and healthy way!
